A lovely nose, nutty & spicy. On the palette there is some depth and length. Almost creamy but still focused with good acidity, there is stone fruit, pear, and citrus (I’m thinking grapefruit). The finish is long with some hazelnut or maybe ginger at the very end. This is a wine that really works on its own or with a wide range of food, probably all but the heaviest of red meat. Well done.
