Popped and poured. Another great bottle! So Chablis like with it's oyster shell, rainwater, and little squeeze of lemon. I will be sad when i have no more. 95pts.

I'm tremendously fond of this wine. Enough so that after drinking the first bottle (of six) about three years ago I went back and got 12 more. They are getting slowly better with time. Very nice balance, elegant without being austere, and still weighty enough for genuine interest but not in the least bit ponderous. Everything in the right place (including the 12.8% alcohol!)

Mainly Oregon (Noizé): Single Blind. Lighter on the nose, more minerality in with the white flowers. Really lovely. Maybe just not quite the extra dimension W1 (Mirgen Long Eyrie 16) is currently showing, but it may get there. ****

Pale straw. Initially quite floral on the nose. White fruit, florality and a good mineral mine on the palate. Manages to combine a sense of ripeness with lightness of foot. A cross between a Puligny and something like a Kumeu Mate’s. On the second evening this has evolved to a less floral and more saline, mineral feel. Elegant and restrained, understated even but really quite engaging. Now it reminds me of a recent 08 Raveneau Butteaux. Hard to describe, but in short, I like it. ****

Popped, poured, and let sit in the glass for 20 minutes. The anticipation for this wine was high due to the fact that the winemaker stated that he prices this wine at $80 in hopes that no one will buy it so he can drink it himself! Blown away with the delicateness yet intensity. Interesting wine as it possessed an inherent prettiness and was lithe but also sported a nice core of ripe fruit which kept the wine in perfect balance. For me, Grand Cru Chablis quality. 95pts.

Willamette Valley Trip - June 2018; 6/8/2018-6/11/2018: Wente Selection clone. This had great depth and a bit warmer fruit profile. It bone dry like the last one, and comes across like a high quality Chablis. This might have been my favorite Chardonnay of the trip, but unfortunately is priced too high for me.

Nose: fresh initially, then got weightier. Beeswax, acacia
Palate: similar to nose. Lots of stuffing here, will keep on giving for a long while yet

Too young. Green and grassy with a lot of acidity to suggest check back on this in a couple of years. Good raw materials.
