PNP. color light straw. nose a little odd, with apple/pineapple with some SO2 and minerality? swishing shows light acid structure in perfect harmony with the fruit which seems light and fresh. More RS than I would normally expect from a kabinett. sipping shows cheek and tongue coating apple and pineapple flavors that lead into a med length composed finish. Really nice...lots of time left for this.

Considerably better than last time I tasted. Previously this was dominated by petrol but now those notes are subtle and the result is a delicious riesling.

Really enjoyed this bottle. Citrus, stone fruits, a hint of diesel. Medium weight, great acidity lifting it up. Seems to be in a really good place now.

One of the lighter bottles of this wine I've had. Citrus and stone fruits. Nice acidity. Medium weight. Just a great sipping wine. went beautifully with roast pork loin.

Very pale straw yellow color. Aromas of green apple, lime, pineapple. This is my 6th bottle of this, and there has been a bit of variation. This bottle seems a little sweeter and heavier than previous bottles. Nicely balanced with some steely acidity. Delicious and refreshing. Moderate length, bright finish.

A really nice bottle now. The color is a very pale straw color. The nose is riper now, with citrus, stone fruits, and a little pineapple. The palate has filled out, it's surprisingly rich for a kabinett. Balanced beautifully with zippy acidity and a very steely edge. Greatly improved in the last 18 months, this is an outstanding wine now.

This starting to get interesting, it used to taste quite boring and not up to par with Prum quailty, but its starting to unwind, bee pollen and waxy aromas are coming out, still wound up but it will be a great bottle in a few years.

Pale straw color. Very strong petrol and rubber note on the nose. Ripping acid on the palate with some tart green apple and citrus flavors. Slight hint of sweetness on the back end. Not overly complex and a bit austere for a JJ Prum riesling from a great vintage. Would not rebuy.

Very light color and sweeter than expected. Starts with pear fruit and quickly asserts its acidity with citrus notes of grapefruit and lemon. Lacking the depth and complexity I expect from this producer in good vintages.

Delicious, but somewhat surprising. In a way, this is more like a spatlese than a kabinett. Rather sweeter than anticipated, yet still balanced with acidity. The color is extremely pale and the nose anticipates citrus, especially orange peel. On the palate, there is first peach, white peach and other stone fruits. There is a layer of honey, offset by citrus acidity on the finish. This is very good, but sweet for a kabinett. It will be interesting to follow this ones' evolution, but I may not be able to keep my hands off them long enough.

Very pale straw color. The nose has a little citrus, not too ripe peach, maybe a touch of honey. The palate is medium-light bodied, the acidity balances nicely. Moderate length finish.

This must be the palest white wine I've ever seen. Pale, almost clear, straw color. The nose has citrus and stone fruit. The palate is about average weight for a Kabinett, maybe a little on the light side. Good balancing acidity. Moderate finish.

Grassy, mango, and grapefruit nose. On the palate I could taste grapefruit and lemon all day. A little honey undertone as well. The structure is good, but no great. Nice acidity though and sweet level was just right for this wine. Overall good entry level JJ Prum wine.

Decanted to allow the sulphur to blow off prior to serving double blind to the group for the March tasting. Racy lime and citrus notes, with a faint grassy note as one taster indicated. Wonderful fruit, racy acidity and a lengthy finish dominated by mineral tones.

Some of the JJ Prum characteristics, but without the depth and structure of the better wines from the same vintage. Honeyed grapefruit with a bit of acidity. Rather one dimensional, but a decent dimension. Would think this wold be good with spicy foods...has the sweetness, but not sure if it has the acidity.

Like biting into a grapefruit pop tart with a touch of applesauce and bright honeyed fruits. A very light wine and too sweet for my taste, rather like grapefruit-ade. Long and lasting finish that was pleasing. For my taste, to carry off this degree of sweetness there needs to be more complexity and viscosity.. I think we needed food and not to sip it alone.

Pale color, very soft nose, a grapefruit explosion in the mouth. Long finish, clean taste. In-laws were blown away and so was I. Would buy it again. Excellent value

Lively, bright, tangy and effervescent. Good broad acidity, lots of grapefruit, lime, slate, green apple. Has a slight medicinal quality. Long finish. Not completely clear or clean, but has a nice brightness. A nice but not great Kabinett. B-
