At restaurant Frank in Copenhagen . This was ready to go from pnp and so delicious. Dark cherry and purple berry fruits, spicy and mineral. A big mouth filling wine with a long finish.
Pitch black core, with bricking at rim. Dark cherry fruit, clove and bay leaf on nose. Palate has a slick of chalky, grainy tannin, buttresssed by loads of vibrant acidity around a core of dark fruit, with black pepper and bay leaf appearing on the finish

Abruzzo seen from the eyes of Emidio Pepe (67@Home Zoom Tasting): 2015 was a great year for Pepe's reds. 85% of production is being aged at the domain for later release. Quite full, the nose is potent and virile, dark minerals and tar, dark berry fruit, menthol, plenty of tannins, chewy, very long and intense

Lovely cloudy purple, savory and aromatic with exotic spice, leather, macerated cherry skin; medium easy tannins, youthful juiciness, balanced and elegant. Really good young Pepe. Tasted a another bottle in the morning with similar notes, but added forest berries, sticks and stones, juicy acid. At the winery for dinner
