Pas de nez sur l'eucalyptus ou le plant de tomate. Ce vin vieillit en beauté, mérite sont 10 ans en cave et il lui en reste sous la pédale. À attendre.

Pleasant enough, enough body and fruit to still be a nice wine, but not gained much from 9 years in bottle. Not over the hill but can't see the point in keeping these. Maybe patience might have paid off, but I doubt it.

Mon enseignement porte fruit! La prochaine dans 4-5 ans au moins.

Thought this wine was quite good. Very fragrant - grass, berries, red licorice, smoke and oak. Medium purple color. This is a fruity, soft wine with a pleasant mouthfeel, not a lot of complexity, but sufficient acidity to balance the fruit. Tannins are very soft. Finishes well. This is a good wine for sipping on its own, might not pair well with most foods; the flavors are deep, but delicate. There are some vegetal notes, but I don't find them to be unpleasant. Just accept this for what it is, and you will find it most enjoyable. Not for long keeping.

This was my second bottle and I thought it was very forgettable. In readming my note from the previous bottle I was surprised at the difference in my first bottle and this one. Perhaps this explains why the diversity of comments on the wine, perhaps there are big variations within the same vintage?

I am amazed at the diversity of feedback in the tasting history section, to my mind this is simple; it is a good value everyday open and quaff wine. Nothing pretentious; solid cab well made and good value for the price.

We decanted this wine for about 20 minutes. It was dark purple in colour, with a watery rim.
The bottle was labelled as wine, but I swear this was black currant juice. We got cassis for days on the nose and on the palate. We also got some spices and may be a slight smokiness, but that's pretty much about it. The finish was rather short.
The wine was medium-bodied and definitely lighter than expected. The mouth-feel was smooth but rather thin. I do not expect much aging potential, as the tannin level was very low.
I would call this wine simplistic and one-dimensional, as this was downright cassis juice without much complexity. It was serviceable; my guests even enjoyed it, but nothing special and not a screaming value at EUR 14.00.

I was very impressed with this wine especially for the price. Beautiful nose of blackberry and damp earth with a trace of smoke. These flavours carry through to the palate with touch of mint also showing through. This is wine making of a high level, I would definitely recommend this bottle.

Oui, boisé mais quand même pas trop, dense et long, une aubaine pour les $18 et quelques extorqués par la SAQ. Un must pour n'importe quelle réserve/cave.

We had this at the Strip House in New York City $40.00. The fruity aroma was pleasant but it was initially served too cold. after allowing the wine to open up a bit it tasted well. I think there is room for this get even better with a little more bottle age.

Syrah-like in color and density, this shows a minerally (even sanguine) note on the nose and a more typical currant flavor on the palate. There isn't much tannin, which makes for easy but mindless swigging. The mid-length finish is tasty, but there's not much to say for this wine otherwise.

Frontal notes but not as deep. Fruit forward but peppery later. Tart and toasty.

A bit of the vegetal flavor that's common in lower priced Chilean wines, but not too much.

Dense purple, glass staining, lighter cling. Slight vanilla and blueberries on the nose. Mouthwatering fruit, smoke, vanilla, scorched earth. Balanced.

Good palate. Nothing especially striking, but all correct. Nice vivacity. Very nice drinking.

Nice, easy drinking Cab. Rather reminded me of a modern Rioja with it's integrated American oak and solid fruit.
