Just picked up half a case and if the first bottle is a guide then this is at the end of its drinking window but is not past it yet. Still some fruit notes but well rounded without any tannins as you would expect from an 8 y.o. VdP. Drank over 2 days and day two was starting to show more of the less desirable aged characteristics. Very quaffable but I'll be making sure I do not leave the remainder for long in the cellar.

Didn't detect the advertised garrigue herbs on the nose. Instead, it smelled of dark fruit and a little funk. Had decent balance, although a little geared towards a tannic edge, which I prefer anyway. Medium-bodied, good texture. Decent amount of fruit with a little spice, although still no garrigue that I could detect. A little savory, almost meaty. Successfully complimented whole wheat pasta with sun-dried tomato sausage, crumbled roasted pecans and an olive oil/pesto sauce.

Another nice bottle of this wine. Simple, but definitely of the Southern Rhone and Provence. The 2004 seemed more life a Chateauneuf-du-Pape. This is more generic. A nice dark cherry core spiced with garrigue, pepper and herbs. Short finish. Quite pleasant., A Kermit Lynch import.

Very tasty drink that I'll seek out again. Classic Rhone flavors and rusticity, but with pure rasberry and strawberry flavors on the palette and admirable brightness.

Ahhhh....nothing better than an easy drinkin, liquid sunshine Provencal wine! Started with the 2007 Tempier Rose', which is always amazing....this is the first time with this wine, another KL import. 80% Grenache,10%Syrah,5% Cinsault,5% Carignan. Not much of a nose...some floral raspberry, garrigue...but pretty closed. Smooth and creamy in the mouth...bright floral fruit of raspberry, strawberry, cherry....some pepper, herbs de P, tart cherry acidity. Pretty simple, but tasty! Almost like a deeper Rose'. Great Summer sippers these wines from S. France!!!

Light garnet color. Medium-bodied. Aroma and taste of dark fruit and Provencal herbs. A very pleasant and enjoyable wine, but nothing that is complex or compelling. Moderately long finish, soft tannins, good depth.

Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe, CNdP & Domaine les Pallieres, Gigondas (Roberts & Speight): Deep purple hue fading to a clear rim. The nose expresses cherry fruit, mixed herbs and spices and a hint of nail polish remover. Medium bodied, sandy tannins and balanced acidity with flavours of cherry and assorted red fruits which dominate the palate. The finish lasts 15 - 20 seconds. This should improve with a couple of years cellaring, but according to Daniel, is "meant to be drunk now". £8.99 per bottle.

Nice wine with our food at Aix in Denver. The wine list there is horribly overpriced but it was 1/2 price Tuesday so we paid 24 for this wine. That's a little low at a restaurant as I'd expect to pay more like 32-35 for something like this. Nice fruit, medium body and finish, silky texture. Nothing spectacular but thoroughly enjoyable.

A nose of spice and cherry, medium amber in color. A medium bodied dry blend, tart cherry, flowers with some spicy notes, decent QPR.

Bright and fruity, with spice, tea and anise flavors. Finishes with soft tannins. Really feeling the Grenache.

Showing more cranberry flavor in this tasting, somewhat thin mid-palate. Fresh and tasty in a light-hearted way.
