Not much offered at first on the nose at cellar temp. As it come up a bit in temperature the nose and flavors chime in with blue fruit, hints of olive and a bit of cinnamon. Interesting to see what day 2 might bring.

Just didn't fit my pallate. Maybe too warm when drank. Missed out on the lighter notes others mentioned and got hung up on a sour plum with green notes seen in a cheaper Burgundy.

Cherry, raspberry, red fruit, violets and mineral. Terrific with the New Zealand king salmon, both sashimi and grilled. Also a good pairing with our wild and long-grained rice cooked in chicken broth.

Not much on the nose....a little tea, cola, and cherry. It does have a very friendly palate, with a silky mouthfeel. It is medium/light in body, with some red fruit, and more cola/tea flavors. Not special, not complicated, just a nice example of Willamette Valley PN.

Very Burgundian in style, sour cherry, cola, and mustard greens on the nose, raspberry, lilac and cedar on the palette with a nice dash of acid. Great with a cheese board.

Really wonderful example of the Willamette Valley. This wine is $25 and it’s all you really need. Wonderful food wine with lots of depth and typical WV aromas and flavors. If you like WV pinot this is a great daily for you.

Jury is still out on this one. It’s likeable but I’m not sure it’s lovable. Decent acidity and lighter texture than many OR Pinots. Will focus more on next bottle when fewer distractions.

Similar to past times, with notes of cherry, raspberry, red fruit, violets and mineral. Great with the pan-cooked Scottish salmon, the pork sausage with fennel (which really paired with the fennel) and the raw yellowfin tuna sashimi.

Have been through a half case of this wine. Slightly fruit forward, nose and initial flavors of cherries and leather with a full mouthfeel, cherries and leather in the mid-range and a moderate finish. This is an excellent Pinot Noir from Patricia Green and I tried to buy another case, but the 2017 was not available. I did purchase the 2018 and look forward to trying it in the next year or two. This 2017 is still young, should improve for 2-3 years, and be drinkable through 2026 or so. Look forward to finishing the rest of my case over the next few years.
Excellent as always. Cherry, raspberry, bright red fruit, violets, minerals and lots of cloves and Indian spices on the finish. Great with the grilled Atlantic salmon skin, the sautéed mushrooms and on its own.
Beautiful light rose aroma when decanting. Nice full nose on initial pour w/full legs. Flavor of nice round cherry w/balance finish. Exceptional w/Blue cheese / Salumi & French bread.

Nose: Limestone and rose oil, some light spice. Light projection
Mouth: Upfront notes of light red plum and tart raspberry turn into an expressive rooibos tea and crushed stone. Long finish of pomegranate and red florals seals the deal. Rounded acid provides lift and tartness without overwhelming while easy tannins chime in from the sides.
Overall: Polished, with elegance in its expanded variety of flavors. This is distinctive and juicy with red fruit and tea notes playing against each other beautifully. 100% Pinot Noir.
92.

Served at dinner with a group of friends along with several excellent 2013-2017 Oregon Pinot Noirs (2014 Evening Land Seven Springs, 2014 Adelsheim Elizabeth's Reserve, 2015 Bethel Heights Flat Block, 2015 Colene Clemens Dopp Creek, 2015 Ponzi Tavola, and 2017 Patricia Green Reserve). For me, the Bethel Heights and Patricia Green were the wines of the evening, even if both are very young. Have drunk over a half case of the Patricia Green and it is an outstanding quality and value. May have to buy more.

I have been drinking a lot of Oregon Pinot Noir over the past couple of years and this bottling by Patricia Green is excellent and one of the best buys in the market. Roses, plums, crisp acidity, good mid-range and excellent finish. I look forward to drinking the remainder of this case over the next 7 or 8 years.
Even better the second evening. Nose had opened up considerably and flavors of plums and raspberries with good acidity and length.

Tasted like sweet cherries. Katie thinks it will smell like and taste like flowers — like real flowers as it ages. Soo thinks it will have more fennel and dark cherry flavor. Will be softer and smoother but tasted smooth and silky to begin with. Stem taste will soften and get earthier. More minerally. Nose will taste like flowers and black pepper

Served with grilled salmon cooked over alder wood, along with 2017 Patricia Green Reserva and a 2014 Nuiton-Beaunoy Beaune Burgundy. Had my sister and her husband for dinner. I have had the Patricia Green Reserva and the Evening Land Seven Springs on several occasions and thoroughly enjoy both wines. The Patricia Green was the WOTN, but the Evening Land was delightful as usual. The Nuiton-Beaunoy was good, but lighter and needs to be drunk up. The Patricia Green and Evening Land should continue to improve for several years.

We like this wine, across many vintages. Notes of cherry, raspberry, bright red fruit, violets and minerals. Perhaps a bit young and better with a little bottle age.
Great with our meal - especially the Scottish salmon (sashimi and grilled), the Bluefin tuna sashimi and the long-grain and wild rice with chicken broth and truffle oil.

Although somewhat young, this is a very good Oregon Pinot Noir from Patricia Green. Medium ruby color, restrained nose of black cherries and spices, excellent acidity and mouthfeel, and good finish. I have greatly enjoyed each of the Patricia Green wines I have tasted, including the 2016 Freedom Hill, 2017 Freedom Hill, and now the 2017 Reserve. I look forward to seeing how these develop.
