Earthy, savory, with red fruits and smoke/ash. Smooth, fruity palate, very controlled and elegant showing the house style beautifully. Sneaky acidity on the finish providing length and the feeling of liveliness and energy. Tannins mostly gone, I would drink this sooner than later before it gets flabby, but I have not much experience with this particular wine from Rockford. 16.5/20.

Has the hallmark GSM nose. The red fruits and peppery/spicy notes from the Grenache shine through. A lovely wine but too young, needs at least a couple more years.

Prosciutto, grilled meat, nutmeg, lilacs, red plums on the nose. Salty sour concentrated plum fruit on the palate with a dry tannic under layer and a sweet acid finish.

This is the Barossa’s equivalent to the ‘Luncheon Claret’. Generous, full, fleshy and earthy. Not over-done but satisfies the red drinker. Some berry and plum fruits. Very mooreish.

A lovely Barossa GSM - red and black fruits with cinnamon and vanilla. Well balanced fruit and spice. Drinking well now but will go another 5 years easily.

Mid depth of red cherry colour, starting to show some development.
Nose: medium intensity with red fruits shining through. Also black fruits, cloves, roses, spice, woody notes and a hint of turkish delight.
Palate: medium bodied+. Rounded and fleshy, not too structured, muted tannins and not too much acid. Very good.

Cherry, ash, raspberry and smokey notes. Bright and fresh on the palate, mid length and depth. Well balanced.
