  • Last bottle of this. Last tasted 1.5 years ago. It was a red fruited Rutherford dusty quintessential Cabernet back then....some things never change. Poured with beautiful color to the glass. The amount of chalky, dusty, herbal red fruit. Black cherry backbone, cherry blossoms, bramble berry juice. Finishes with a slightly toasted tannic character. Black pepper on the finish with a tiny bit of green olive and eucalyptus. Showing great integration and complexity, this 2015 was ready to go right out of the bottle although I can definitely see decanting for 30 minutes, or even holding another 7-10 years.

  • Drinking very well, but has a ways to go.

  • Deep dark center, red/purple rim with no real signs of age.
Sweet red fruits - black cherries and plums, black olives, a little oak.
Smooth, black cherries and blackcurrant, fairly rounded tannins, some good acidity, well integrated wood, unobtrusive alcohol (stated 14.5%), good fruit-driven finish.
Excellent Harrison Cab, drinking well now but a little better on day 2, will do well over the next 5 years.

  • What a crazy amount of red fruit! Cork withdrawn to a very vibrant cherry colored stain. Nose out of the bottle of black cherries and herbs. Poured pretty thick into the glass. Nose out of the glass was really intense black cherry, bing cherry, wildflowers, herbs, very Cabernet Franc-esque. The palate showed a lot of chalky youthful red fruit throughout, very similar to the nose with a lot of herbal influence. A lot of dirty black cherry. Full bodied and quite intense. Well balanced wine with excellent structure. Finished with a lot of youthful toasted tannin with a moderate amount of pepper. This one went very well with a Greek yogurt marinated chicken served with peppers, olives, and herbed potatoes. Some of your unilateral blackberry fruit bomb cabernets would have overpowered this dish, but this one complemented it extremely well. This is a beautiful Cabernet, and only going to improve over the next decade or so. Be in no rush to drink this one!

  • Solid excellent Cabernet, in the elegant but powerful style, really hitting its stride but ample aging potential.

  • Nice mid weight Napa cab. Has a little red fruit nuance with typical Rutherford character. Sweet vanilla on the finish. Fine soft tannins. Drinkable now, everything in balance. Quite nice

  • Tasted on April 18, 2019. Very pleasant bouquet. Oak with a cherry notes with slight chocolate note.

  • Young but reasonably accessible at this point. Would really benefit from a few years in the cellar. Balanced with power and elegance this is classic Napa Valley Cabernet not a over ripe dry port.
