disappointing, especially at over $60. maybe my bottle was heat damaged? I only say this after reading praise for it here, which I cannot understand based on my one experience.
day two; it is actually delicious in flavor, but I still do not like it. It is a bit sharp, and thin, and the flavors are not the deep, dark, smooth ones I prefer.
Trying it again, although the drinking experience is not pleasant, the flavor is, one is tempted to add it to a beef stew;,.. but it might be too sweet.
for comparison, I enjoy the Stags' leap cab: the Leap, 2019. of course it is $95. I also like Chateau Gloria 2015 at a similar price, and some 2010 Rioja grand riservas for less. cheers!

friends brought this over for dinner. popped cork about 30 minutes before while we polished off a bottle of champagne. Solid napa cab that is starting to show some signs of age, with some tertiary notes, hints of raisin, leather. One of the few 2016s that seems to have peaked early, but not surprising as it lacks the depth and concentration of many of its peers, costing twice as much.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It tastes like blackberry, raisin, plum, cherry and medium toast. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Dark fruits - blackberry/cassis. Medium bodied. Smooth tannins on the finish. Drinking nicely now- fruit and tannins have integrated, softening the wine. Drink now through 2025.

Originally trued in their tasting room, then bought a bottle locally to enjoy. A beautiful deep color, with long lucious wood aromas. A lovely complex structure with deep red fruit flavors and a lingering finish. Recommend 1.5 hours decant.

By the glass. The district is already advancing what will be the content of this bottle: intensity of wood in the form of memories of sweet spices with tons of structure. The positive part is that in the mouth the fruit is more cried out with balance and depth. It will never be my favorite CS but it is not the worst I've ever had either.

Red and black fruit with just a hint of beautiful pyrazines (green pepper) good structure and balanced acidity. I think this is better than others on CT. More interesting/complex than most Napa cabs. Great QPR.

with 5/4/4/3 Malbec/Merlot/Cab Franc/Petit Verdot. 18 months mixed oak. Medium plus nose shows black fruit, fall spice, coffee grounds, showing young, lots of fruit tones. Palate matches with black fruits, blackberry, cassis, velvety style, cinnamon, very smooth, structure backs it up. Does well now and should age as well.

A VELVTY SMOOTH, DEEPLY RICH MOUTH FELL. LOTS OF DARK BERRIES AND CHOCOLATE FLAVORS IN THE FIRST SIP. GREAT SMOOTH FINISH.

An average Napa cab at an average price. Easy drinking, nothing stands out.

Managed to get a 375mL bottle for only $15. Medium body and this was a PnP. Wouldn't pay $40-45 for a 750mL bottle though.

Good solid cab. Not special, but pretty good value. Medium bodied, still plenty of fruit.

SIA Wine Week; 3/4/2019-3/8/2019 (Singapore Airlines): Highly spiced paprika nose, and the palate has lots of greens, wood, and tannins. Interesting, but would prefer the fruit to be out more
