Very solid for the price. Some toasted nuts and truffles blend with lemon and honey and ripe chard fruit. A tiny vegetative note but nothing negative. Broad if simple on the palate with a medium length well balanced finish. Tasty!

Old oak, nice balance, great sour tanginess that comes from wild yeast. Big tropical fruit -- mango, pineapple -- but not new-world style... Very well balanced. Paired nicely with roast chicken. If only we'd had cracker noodles, too. Sip it slowly and savor it.

Golden colour; melony; limestone and candied ginger. Butterscotch laced with high acid. Tremendous value. Not overly oaked, but it is nonetheless present. Smoky, burnt toast.

Pronounced yellow. Toasty, leesy, and minerally all at the same time, with the fruit present in quantity but not really well defined. Full and easy flavors are impressive for their ability to fill and coat the mouth if not for their lift.

Oxidized, but I have nobody to blame but myself. This is well beyond any reasonable expectation of longevity for a wine at this level/ price.

A beautiful wine at a great price. My detailed description would largely echo tcfischler's.

Wow -- in just 5 months it really transformed into a more balanced, integrated wine. Classic Beaune for a great price. Bravo.

Nice acidity, but relatively simple chard. Though it did gain a bit of complexity and earth by the last glass. Fairly priced quaffer.
