This is such a solid wine for the price, find me another wine at this price from Burgundy at this level, Maybe the Faiveley Mercurey. Aromas of bright red cherries, cranberries, light mushrooms and light earth. The palate was bright and tense, with elegant tree fruit, grippy acidity, and a tense but enjoyable finish. Edit: Outside of Beaujolais of course ;)

Aromas of ripe red strawberries, cranberries along with a light forest floor and fresh herbs, the palate was soft and full of elegant red fruit, light tannins, the finish was medium plus in length, however, this will improve in the coming years. Well concentrated and burgundy in style. Probably one of the top wines of the region for the price.

Immediately upon opening this wine it exudes red fruit notes. When poured this wine is a brownish light red with quick to medium legs. To the nose this wine provides big fruit, floral and spicy notes that really come together with a intriguing uniqueness to it. To the mouth this wine is a smooth spicy wine that leaves the spice notes in your mouth and on your tongue. What a great wine that was recommended by the wine associate at the SAQ in LaSalle. A must have that I will buy in the future.

From memory. Light hue. Flavours a bit closed in a well balance structure. Simple and easy to drink even if there's a fealing of excess youthness. Needs time (without to much hope) or an other vintage to try. Still the style is remarquable. An estate to follow.

As with most French wines, comes alive with food. That isn't a priority to me so rated down a touch for that.

Not the most complex wine but hits all the notes for a textbook red burgundy. This is more on the fruit than on the minerality. Delicious.
