  • Deep ruby in the glass. I love that this is open and ready to drink right off the bat. A combo of red & black berry fruit with some really slick oak spices in the background and a hint of herbs (I got some mint and rosemary). Medium-bodied, smooth, almost silky. Lovely little drop, one of my favourites in a lineup of 10 Gevreys tasted.

  • My first Sylvie. Almost candy-like nose initially. Decanted for about an hour and then the spice garden started to show on the nose along with lovely crunchy red fruits. The palate is decadent and sultry, wrapping your whole mouth in velvet. Finish is smooth and full, lingering ever so long. This is a lovely drink now with tons of upside.

  • Medium-light ruby red in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, plums & strawberries with overtones of earthy/dusty & floral notes, mushrooms, lovely spices, minerals, herbs & a hint of vanilla in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, strawberries & cranberries with herbs, spices & minerals. Drinks quite well with extended airing but should develop further with additional aging.
