Dark fruit, briars, smoke, and licorice on the nose. Smooth, round, and medium bodied, with blackberry flavors and peach skin action on the back end. Always dependable.

Dark color, almost purple; nose of dark fruit (blackberry and stewed plums); on the palate it's almost sweet with lots of ripe blackberry and some cranberry; finishes with some dried/toasted oak. Moderate acid and smooth tannins. Wouldn't hold much longer as it's probably as good as it's going to get right now.

Starts out as if over oaked, very smoky. I almost said forget it. Needs a full 2 hours to breathe after which it was very nice with black currants and cherry /medium tannins.

After having a Pinot Noir there really is a huge difference. If I had to have another bottle of this I’d have a nice big steak. A beautiful color and a deep red with a hint of dark chocolate nosing. Good stuff. Plums, blackberries are present. For $15 great buy but for $20 I just assume try another.

I concur with most other postings. Deep color, good structure and smoothness, some complexity. I would give a higher score but there is little or no finish. Nevertheless excellent QPR from Costco for an everyday PNP that should lay down for 5 more years. Very pleasant drinking w/wo food.
Solid everyday wine for a gathering where the focus is on conversation and the food. Balanced flavors of red berries, with a touch of vanilla. Excellent QPR.

Palate: Same bright, but intense and juicy cherries, red berries, some oak and finishes with slight earth and minerality. Also a slight touch of graphite.. quite subtle.
Medium dark Ruby. Dry with medium-minus amounts of chewy tannins. Light-plus to medium-minus body with medium-plus acidity. Decent finish of about 7-9 seconds. A little bit of heat and slightly harsh even after some time in the glass. Almost too juicy and acidic and harsh.
Dark garnet colored, medium bodied, a bit flabby, slightly astringent cherry fruits accented by cinnamon spice and hints of cedar on a modest tannin finish. Tasted from winelist at Clubhouse in Oak Brook, IL.

Thought this would be better, too rough and acidic, I expected some balance and light to medium fruit.

Nope! To much tannins, no body. Maybe lay down for a year.

Not bad for price point. Should mellow out some with a little more cellar life.

Color was deep garnet. Nose was oaky vanilla, leather, masculine. Definitely need a few more bottles of this in the cellar. Great price/performance.

Fairly decent everyday supermarket Cabernet, $15. I have to compare it Louis Martini and although that would be my preference it is adequate.
