Dark berries and well dosed oak in the bouquet, good acidity and still slightly sticky tannin. Nice, medium weight wine in the midst of its drinking window.

Drank over 4 days and kept at room temperature. This tasting note is from day 4. In the bouquet dark berries and a light dose of oak and herbs. On the palate a fairly full bodied wine with dark and red berries as well as some herbs and spices. Good acidity and mild, round tannin. Day 4 the wine was still very fresh and youthful. This wine can easily last until 2026 and probably longer.

The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like green olive. It tastes like walnut. The body is medium. The wine has leathery texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has high acidity.

Delicious table red, bought at a CT liquor store for 19.99, if I find this for less, that's best. Surprised to find generic Vin De Bordeaux cork reads 2009. Requires 10 - 15 mins aeration.
Balanced and smooth, black cherry and even mineral back of that. Just not very complex.

almost undrinkable for the first 90 minutes. very thin, green, and acidic. Finally started coming around with some darker cherries, tobacco, and spice. got thin and acidic around after 2.5 hours again. not a rebuy even @ $10

Popped and poured. Hoping for an easy-drinking table wine with a bit of Bordeaux typicity, but this didn't deliver. Oaky, cloying, unenjoyable – tasted like a bad WA red blend from the under $15 shelf. Won't buy again. At least it was cheap!

This is a modern easy-drinking Bordeaux with no great complexities, but is is certainly very nice and shows a lot of clean fruit of an earthy kind without the distinction of Médoc, let alone Margaux. But less will do, and it works perfectly well with three quite challenging and somewhat bitter vegetable dishes. Great progress here since the sordid little Bordeaux supérieurs of the 1980s.

There is cassis and blackberry aromas with a slight lactic note on the nose.
Balanced palate with a bit of tannic grip ending with a pleasant sour touch on the finish.

Nice entry level left bank Bordeaux. Let it breath. I'd buy again.
