Tempranillo, aged 18 months in American oak barrels, 14% vol.
Decanted 3 hours before dinner. Still very primary with red stone fruit and only a hint of tobacco, on the palate quite smooth, medium acidity, full bodied and medium length. Did a step up within the last 3 years, but will still need at least another 2 to 4 years to peak, for now it is good but a bit simple, 89+.

Coming into a great drinking window right now. Was wide open from the get go with lively fruits, melded tannins and a velvety mid palate that was so rewarding. The finish, with some charcuterie and slight earthiness really completed the experience. Wish I had more to enjoy over the next 2-4 years.

Very well composed. In the nose lots of forrest fruits, plum and subtle vanilla. On the palate soft fruit, prune, oak, clear tannins, a fine and significant acidity and a fairly long, aftertaste. Good balance all the way through.

Decanted an hour before dinner (more would have been better). Very primary with dark fruit that covers the earthy notes and tobacco, medium to full bodied, good freshness and medium+ finish. Not as focussed as the best vintages of this wine, ok now (88 points), will improve with further cellaring and will peak in 5 to 7 years with a potential of 90+ points.

Dark ruby colour, elegant notes of vanilla, dark chocolate and nice hints of butter, fruits of cherry and plum, very fine and well balanced, very nice tannins, mid-long finish, real good wine, good price as well

Aromatics: We both noted strong oak, with Jessie noting some coconut. Then came the black fruits, with Jessie first noting cocoa and Max first noting pepper.
Palate: The pepper opens it up, while the cocoa closes it out on the finish. It's medium-light in body, dry, of medium acidity. Oak remains notable on the sip, and is very nice -- present, but not dominant.
Pairing: We had it with beef goulash the first night and green lentil soup the second, and it worked with both.
Other notes: This wine was quite stable in its presentation after being stoppered in the fridge, though Max thinks the fruit got stronger.
Overall: We like it! Max says it's one of his favorite reds and gives it a 91; Jessie gives it an 89.

I rather liked this, ripe notes of dark cherry and vanilla, but pretty big tannins prevented this from coming across as being flat. Hedonistic for sure, but it worked for some deeper contemplation and thoughts.

Bof.

The deep colour with hints of purple brings immediate excitement. Blast of milk chocolate, vanilla and cocoa on the nose followed by violets, purple fruits, chocolate, some cinnamon spice, faint hints of garden herb. Very rich creamy mouthfeel, juicy dark ripe fruits with nice length and finish. Extremely yummy. Feels like a spanish version of a rich full bodied yummy australian shiraz. All good hard to stop drinking.

Oeil: violet opaque, dense.

Alc. 14 %. Sucre 1,9 g/l. 34,25 $ au Québec. (https://vinquebec.com/node/15111)

Can I describe a wine as creamy? In a good way. Lots of blackcurrant and tobacco. Still quite young. With a weird but wonderful creamy mouth feel which I have experienced with Tinto Pesquera before. 2 bottles drunk both delicious
