A very delightful bottle to savor on a warm late spring afternoon. Nice citrus, apricot, and saline minerals. Solid acidity to be able to finish enjoying with green vegetables at dinner. A wonderful, easy drinking, wine that was a pleasure poolside tonight

A touch better than our bottle about one year ago. PnP, chilled. The nose yielded some minerality and some citrus. On the medium bodied palate, there are some white fruits, but the citrus dominates as lemon creme, along with minerality and bright acidity, making the wine quite palate cleansing. Should hold for another year or two.

Bummer. My last bottle of this. Will need to purchase more. Wonderful citrus, fruit. Honestly, the TCV version of this grape is better than most Italian versions.

Tart and crisp, but with more ripeness and texture than I was expecting. A touch more round than what we've had in Italy. Citrus dominates. Paired well with sushi.

Per prior note this is riper and more textural than most vintages of this wine, but I was really liking this 2nd of two bottles I'd bought. Drank well over two nights.

Pale yellow. White grapefruit, flowers, with mineral and herbal notes on the nose. High acid, good body, on palate there’s sea spray, fennel, white pepper, and a long citrus finish. More complex than I expected and a very good food wine. Delicious.

Clear, light gold. Tropical fruit on the nose, med intensity. More of the same on the palate-pineapple, pear, stone fruit, med body. Nice balance of acidity and fruit - totally refreshing.

An unexpected treat. Had never heard of Vermentino, but glad that we know about it now. Really good summertime white. Citrus and mineral, which can also be said about a California dry Riesling like the one from Chateau Montelena. But I thought the Vermentino had more character and had more going on than Riesling. I'm a fan.

PnP, chilled. The nose yielded only some minerality. The citrus dominates the medium bodied palate, with minerality and bright acidity. The wine is quite palate cleansing and particularly well paired with a dish of angel hair pasta, with shrimp, in a white garlic sauce. Should hold for a couple of years.

WILYPOD describes the wine and Tablas's success with the grape very well. This bottle came across a bit riper with a broader fruit core than most prior renditions with the telltale minerality less pronounced. I lovely wine, but I slightly favor the bottles that show more flinty minerality, zest, and higher notes. Still, a minor quibble, as WILYPOD says, a year in and year out winner from Tablas Creek. I think the Vermentino likes the limestone out there.

In the hands of Tablas Creek, Vermentino is remarkably consistent and excellent -- I've had every year since 2011. The 2018 is up there with the best and is my favorite summertime white, with fresh lime tartness and the juicy aroma and flavor of ripe grapefruit. While the difference in vintages is minor, except for the remarkable 2015, the 2018 might be the best one since that 2015. 89-90.

This far and away the best Vermentino that TCV has made. It has aromas of lemon, apple and peach. Great acidity.

Nice vibrant fruity nose. Bright tastes of citrus (grapefruit), tropical fruits and minerals. Became a bit more minerally/acidic in later glasses.
