Dark purple wand opaque almost to the edge. Ping slow moving legs. The nose is ripe dark red fruit with a touch of vanilla. The palate is consistent with the nose. The finish is dominated by red fruit. The wine is a reasonable value. 5+12+16+8=91

A nose of some dark fruit and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, plum, licorice and spice, a good value. www.winelx.com

Complimented Salmon Carbonata, Braised Pork and Sausage Pizza. Very drinkable and not overpriced. Wonderful color and nose. The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant. It tastes like blackberry and black currant (cassis). The body is medium. The wine has silky texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has low acidity.

Berries, vanilla, oak, slightly off dry finish. Plum garnet color. Med weight, heat and some acid on palate, short but decent finish. Airport lounge wine.

P: Med body; Very RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt (suspect threshold R.S.) firmed by just a BIT of astringent pucker which QUITE resolves by the LONG, balanced finish with a pleasant SWTNESS to the few, innocuous, dusty tannins. Nicely done in a threshold R.S. style, which my VG+/EXC- reflects even though it's not what I'd *personally* wish to drink. [Check with this vendor if interested in their *very* COMPETITIVE price.]

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt (suspect threshold R.S.) met by a bit of astringent pucker which loses the MAJORITY of its punch by the LONG, poss very, VERY slightly bitterish finish with a swtness to the relatively few dusty tannins. NEEDS through '19, then drinking for the following 3 yrs. My VG+/EXC- in the flirting with R.S. style, but NOT something I'd personally consider buying. Sunfish Cellars Grand Tasting (Just $10) (Sunfish Cellars/I Nonni Minneapolis, MN): My value wine of the tasting. Nothing off the charts but no desirable flaws. Nice fruits, spice and good use of oak. Medium finish.

Very present fruit and tannins. Reminds me of Liberty School, but only because I had LS first. Could’ve been the other way around.
Pour 4 glasses in the first 15 minutes when it is somewhat interesting, or vacuum cork it and serve 3 days later when it will be much richer.
