Good bright purple color with an edge of mahogany. The aroma was surprisingly strong of dark cherry and a medicinal surround. On the palate the fruit was strong, unrefined and showing lots of tar, resign.

Aroma was very balanced fruit and a little spice. Palate was very balanced with rasberry, spice and a little bit of tobacco. Linger is very nice, smooth and consistant. Doesn't "jump up and grab you" but is a very nice, smooth Pinot that you can drink to your hearts content. It is possible this could get overwhelmed by some strong tasting foods.

A little disappointed. Rather simple. Typical berry/cherry aroma faded quickly in glass. Hot on the palate. Much better Pinot available for the price.
