Rose petal, blackberry and nutmeg on the nose. Slightly brambly but seductive earthy, juicy boysenberry on the palate. Great combination of peppery mild tannin followed by juice on a long finish. Very nice.

Really enjoyed this quite rich, fruit forward, spicy, seductive pinot. Good depth of red and bramble fruit, not overly extracted, nice medium + body. Sweet perfumed fruit. Medium acidity and tannin. Long finish and some complexity. Drink now and over the next 5 years.

The wine looks ruby colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like forest floor, plum and oak. It tastes like oak, cherry and blackberry. The body is light/medium. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes medium. The wine has medium acidity.

Plum color, red fruit on nose, dark cherry, red currant, oak, menthol, touch of pepper, medium plus acidity, firm tannin. Oak is prominent and tannins are a tad rough. Lacks balance.

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with NICE, ALMOST swtish frt (approaching threshold R.S.?) met by a bit of astringent pucker which QUITE works itself out by the LONG, balanced finish with POSS a *hint* of very, VERY slight bitterness & a tangy/SWTNESS to the FEW, unoffensive, dusty tannins. The least structured of this flight. For now (with food) & through '22. My VG+/EXC-; [Check with this vendor if interested in their *very* COMPETITIVE price.]

I have @ least SOME problems with SUCH a ripe, relatively unstructured style, so my my VG+ (88,89/100) will undoubtedly be on the low side for some/(many?). Too much licorice for me/Pinot. Much better wines for the money.
