  • Neat little half bottle. Nose and palate was smoked figs, eucalyptus, brambly raspberry cola, shoe leather, black licorice, and a kiss of black peppercorns with neutral oak tannin finish. Really didn't need a decant and was rocking out of a 375. This half bottle didn't stand a chance and was gone after 30 minutes.

  • The bouquet opened with dusty rose and cedary spice, as notes of sweet strawberry and crushed stone developed in the glass. On the palate, I found a silky expression, contrasted by a core of minerals and spice, as crunchy, dark red fruits saturated the senses amidst pretty inner florals. It finished long, brooding, and structured, showing mineral and spice-infused tart berries and grippy tannin.

  • The nose was exotic, with spicy florals and crushed stone giving way to black cherry. On the palate, I found an unexpectedly soft and pretty display, with ripe red fruits complicated by spice and inner florals. It finished dark, brooding and structured, showing mineral and spice-infused black cherry and hints of tannin.
