A bit shy, but presents multiple, entertaining personalities when drinking. It supported a peppery roast, opening my palate to mellow vinted grape and presented no unpleasant edges. Moderate price equates to an attractive QPR.

Based on the first smells out of the bottle, this seemed to have good potential, but it didn't quite pull things together and stick the landing. Still pretty good for the price, though.
Intriguing dark fruit and spice on the nose. Granite and citrus on the palate. Chalk and fruity oak on the finish. Flavor of charred oak lingers on the aftertaste minutes later.

Just okay. Wouldn't drink it as an everyday table wine as we hoped. You could taste the components, it just wasn't a blend that works for us. Wife agreed. Pass. There are other blends at this price point that do more with less. They did less with more.

Lighter bodied as befits, to some degree, it's $10 price tag. Lightly smokey med red fruits with a lot of pepper that strikes me as more mourvedre-ish than syrah, though supposedly it's a lot more of the latter. Lacks depth.

N: Fairly fragrant cherries with notes of spice & undertones of toast
P: Med body; NICE, ALMOST swtish, smoky (charred?) frt met by a puckerish astringency which only somewhat resolves by the LONG, BITTER (oak char?/swt finish. The char is a negative game changer for me. IF it *somehow* mitigates, my VG-/VG will be low. Currently, however, I must be in a charitable mood to togle the "Neutral" rather than the "I don't like it" button. [This vendor's $8.99 puts it in the TOP 1/2 of wine-searcher's currently LIMITED postings.]

Medium body with sweet blackcurrant aromas and flavours and with the Viognier making its presence felt, even though its only 1% of the blend, which makes it a little more fragrant, super smooth and with hints of apricot on the spicy finish.

Honest, simple wine. Good flavors, fruity and spicy, but nothing too exciting either
