Medium-light pink in color. Full, fragrant & aromatic nose of ripe fruit aromas of fresh strawberries, cherries & watermelon notes with overtones of floral notes, spices & minerals. Light bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, crisp, ripe fruit flavors of strawberries, tart cranberries & pomegranate with spices & minerals. Lingering dry finish. Drinks quite well at present & has some limited potential for additional development with another year of aging. A Rose blend from their top vineyards with a touch of red Grenache from the barrel added at time of bottling to lift the tannins & add complexity.
