Decent zin after a while. This bottle had a prominent smoky blast right from the beginning. It settled down after about 30 minutes. A lot of dark fruit coming through. To our relatively novice palettes, it seemed a bit harsh at first. Was better later in the meal.

Smooth, some spice and fruit forward. Served with a savory Tuscan chicken with sundried tomatoes, basil. onions. mushrooms, spinach, parmesan, garlic and cream. The zinfandel lacked enough acidity to be a great match and came off a little one note with more sweetness than I like. I still enjoyed the wine. Wrong food probably better with BBQ or TriTip.

Delicious. Smells of fresh berries and currants, med acid, light oak on the finish, mild tannins, just delicious. Can cellar for anothrt few years but doubt you would gain anything. More balanced than some 95pt rated zins from Ridge

Decant 30 min+. Strawberry to open, followed by jammy boysenberry, with some baking spice. After being decanted for about hour sweet tobacco began showing. Enjoyed with food and post meal.

Lots of bramble fruit to the nose. Lively on the mid palate, a little less big than I thought that it would be.

From the Tubb’s fire year. Strong tannins. Not as much fruit as typical. Hmmm

A smooth Zin that still retains a bright fruit flavor, very rich and flavorful with nothing sweet or jammy. A very nice Zin with complexities.
