  • As full-bodied and powerful as you can expect from a tannat. Generous, savoury and wild, offering enormous concentration and intensity. A seducing nose, dark, endlessly deep and ripe, not dissimilar to aglianico in a way. Dried up black jam, herbs, leather, coffee marks the aromatics. While it starts to mellow just a bit, so that it doesn't look extracted, there are no signs of age, no tertiary notes. Rock solid structure, with masses of great, ripe tannins, matching the big flavors and body. There's a lot going on here, a wow wine.
