Colour dark and young. Little bouquet. Full, reasonably rich palate. Seems like it needs more time in cellar or decanting (tasted immediately after opening). Difficult to gauge potential.

Lovely mix of Old World farm and red fruit on both the nose and tongue. Good acidity with just a hint of receding tannins, but only moderate complexity and finish. For a more-than-decent everyday wine with food it’s quite nice.

This was a lovely wine that offers excellent value; the nose was full of bright red berry fruits (red currant, strawberry, red raspberry) along with floral notes and just a tiny hint of humus. The palate was very nicely balanced and had lovely acidity that kept the wine vibrant. A more elegant style of Savigny, but well made and super tasty.

Still young. Needs air and time to open. Fruit and spice on the palate.

Good, slightly modern, but lovely fruit and good structure and acidity that comes to the fore

Modern and flabby. Was slightly better the next day, but more like Santa Barbara than burgundy.

Camus Bruchon provides one of the best values in red Burgundy. This wine is a little green, but it beats almost anything the new world has produced.
