Good blue and black fruits with pencil shavings, toasted clove and dried herbs. Palate is clean and deep. Powerful mid-palate but the edges are rounded. Open aromatics. Still need some time in the bottles for the tannins to fully integrate to the body. Wait for another 2-3 years.

Dark purple, reticent nose of cassis and blackberry. The medium bodied palate is structured with flavors of black cherry, although slightly hollow in the middle. Firm stricture with mouth puckering tannins and a medium length finish. This is a decent wine for the price and those that buy it won't be disappointed,

Lifted bouquet of promising typicity. Nothing stands out, yet all as it should be. Quite restrained for such a warm vintage offering.
Purple and blackberries dominate, along with pyrazines and graphite. Somewhat sappy middle, which shows a certain bitterness. This element turns prominent at the back and leads to a rather pinched finish. Solid, yet the greenish bite detracts from the whole.
A few years might round this out a touch.

A very good offering. It has a nice blueberry and strawberry nose. The palate is a nice and soft with a ton of deep berries. It has a little oak in the middle and finishes with some sweet vanilla.

Cru Bourgeois: Light purple. Smells of currant and plum paste, with roasted figs, along with tar, violets, sage and pine. The palate shows zippy acidity, tart cherries and currants, with medium-strength tannins. Notes of violets, savory spices, pine sap, tobacco, with some roasted chestnut and morel mushroom tones. A lot going on here, this deserves two to three years in the cellar to show its best.

Medium-bodied, the wine is round, forward, fresh and juicy. The red fruits are ripe, showing off a touch of licorice with the currants in the finish. Give it 2-4 years in the cellar before pulling a cork and enjoy it over the following 12 years or so.
