In good shape, clear pale yellow, lemon zest on the otherwise unremarkable nose. Delicious fruit of lemon and apple balanced by lively acidity. I am sure if given this to taste blind I would never think it was 12 years old...

Pale golden. Nose of oak, citrus, minerals, peach. Medium body w high acidity, fruit wth citrus, quince. Aftertaste w oak, alcohol. Not very complex. Has kept well. Nice and fresh standard Burg, but not a typical Meursault.

Not exactly charged with flair or power, but the wine makes up for it by its poise. Dominated by lemon and pair, with good mineral aspect to hold weight, and an ever so light touch of creme completes the picture. Great price to boot.

Beautiful tropical nose, crystal clear in the glass, and a palate of stone fruit, pineapple and slate, framed with crisp acidity. What's not to like, and a great QPR for this appelation. All the right parts, outstanding.

The nose is dominated by toast with sweet citrus fruits (pineapple and mango) coming in close behind. On top, and whispy, are perfume and vanilla notes. The mouth is rich with fruity pineapple and citrus up front and surrounded by a toasty oak structure. The acidity is very present but masked and balanced by the rich fruit. All in all this is a very mouth filling wine with, maybe, a little too much oak now. However, the oak adds an enjoyable spicy finish.

Almost one year after the last bottle, not much has changed. Still a refined, elegant wine of relatively direct presentation. Soft, not particularly crisp, with ripe pineapples and lemon/line backing. Clean finish.

Pineapple, butter and light citrus were most pronounced on the nose and palate both. This wine was very enjoyable and went well with fish and quiche both.

2 half bottles served at start of meal. Had some meursault character but not the depth and body necessary to distinguish this wine. Not dissapointed, but not impressed.

Opened not decanted and served chilled. Tastes better towards room temperature. Clear pine wood in color. Dry grass, hay and honey on the nose with a touch of pineapple. On the palate: dark and slightly over ripe fruit with a somewhat viscous mouthfeel ending with a peppery citrus attack. Good.

Opened not decanted. Served chilled and then put on ice. Heavy, pregnant nose of honey and warm hay. On the palate: medium weight with an oily consistency and a bright citrus, dry, sour, acidic finish. Fair to Good.

Realy enjoyed this. Sourced from Sparrows tasting at Elk Club (April '08). Nutty and citrus aromas. Creamy, lemon-butter. Lime juice. Wet stone. Good stuff.

This took quite some time to open up. Citrus flavors with a medium finish. Was actually better the second day.

OK, but for the price I would have something else. I guess if you want something that tastes like a Meursault, need to more.
