Pale Garnet with Medium aromas of game, red fruit, dried herbs, oak, perfume, and black pepper. Medium-intensity flavors of sour cherry, game, thyme, vanilla, and some savory notes. Medium plus finish with medium plus acidity and medium minus grain tannins. Very soft drinking wine with some warmth thanks to the 14.5 abv.

This was not what I expected, the wine was very light and medium bodied at best. It was very smooth, and non oak at all. If you like Pinot Noir this would be a great choice as a blend to give it a try.

The 2017 Homage to Heritage Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a medium-to-deep ruby wine that serves up a tidy package of dark bramble fruits, Provençal herbs, loamy earth, white pepper and baking spices. Medium-bodied, fresh, softly oaked and with supple tannins, it stays solid on the mid-palate and throws no heat from its 14.5% alcohol (when served at 60-65°F). Finishing medium-to-long, this is a softly-textured Chateauneuf that is hard to resist. This particular bottle was Vinturi-decanted and was immediately expressive, not requiring lengthy aeration. Drink now-2026.

Elegant and earthy showing plum, cherry, raspberry and leather. Tannins and acidity are in balance. Medium bodied. Well made wine. NI:3, FI:20, FC:8, B:4, L:3

Medium Body, Medium Tannin, Medium + acidity, Bright black cherry, and raspberry, outstanding finish. More fruit-forward than most CDR's but very pleasant and drinkable. Outstanding at this price point.

spice and candied fruit. a little thin. I made the mistake of drinking it a little too cool initially. Made the nose almost non-existent and drained all the flavor. Drank the second day at room temp and it did much better.

Great CDP for the price. Dark berry. Ended with some brown sugar notes. Would like to get another bottle and let it rest for a few more years to see the difference.

Really nice CdP. Complex blend of flavors (cherry, cassis, vanilla, spice) with a nice finish.
