I'm always on the lookout for value Chardonnay and this was a revelation to me. Originally created by Eric Solomon for the US market in the Languedoc, this is now produced by the excellent Domaine Lafage in Roussillon as a collab. Light gold in the glass. The nose is quite pronounced with lots of orchard fruits, white peach, vanilla pod and camomile. The palate displays beautiful texture, medium body and nicely defined fruit. There's a touch of minerality and very good acidity through the mouthwatering finish. The restrained oak during elevage leaves a delicate imprint that's just right. Has to be one of the greatest value Chardonnay's in Europe. Drink now.

PnP. Simple quaffing wine with an international/modern twist to the mid palate and finish. Decent varietal typicity, really no sense of place. A fair value under $11. For what it is, it's recommended. Drink now.

Not a ton of fruit or depth but this provides a deliciously bright, clean citrus and saline wash. Surprisingly elegant and refined at this price. A strong summer house white value.

What a great buy excellent qpr. Not to pakeha not to acidity. Medium weight with slight citrus with apple and at end a tad bitter which keeps it from getting higher tating. Love it at $12 Buying a case

Good value. Medium- acid, smooth and a little buttery. Would have liked more acid, but a good simple chardonnay.

Solid chard with very nice fruit and integrated light wood. A little limited on the finish. This is a crowd pleaser.

Fruchtiger lebendiger Chardonnay, weniger Power und Bitternote als 2017. Gefällt mir besser.
