Crazily closed compared to the previous btl. However, balance, oomphf, acidity, tannins, heft and that magical spritz is here. This is a beacon! Just some 5-10 years away from early delivery.
Amazing juice!

Dark red, bluish, opaque. Nose: dark, sweet, ripe fruit - blackberries and dark cherries. Leather and wood. High tannins (unsurprisingly) with dark berries, leather, chocolate and some black pepper. Long aftertaste. The fruit match the tannins and it's more accessible than I would have thought at such a young age, for a Montus. 90-92.

Oenocosmos tasting (Athens Hill): The wine shows elegant profile, very ripe black fruit, black cherry and currant, prunes, earthy, black olive, dark chocolate, dense sweet oak but in balance. In the palate, the wine shows fruit, black and blue berries, high acidity, a touch alcohol, tannic strength, lean, aggressive as it is, long finish

Madness and mayhem in Spöland (Spöland, North Sweden): Youngest wine of tonight. Dark violet. Big, beautiful buttery lingonberry and ultra youthful wine. What a treat! Lingonberry jam and melting butter, fabulous tannic structure, great acidity… What a fantastic wine!
I'm so happy yo have another five btls of this ambrosia.

Deep dark ruby red, opaque. Tart and sweet notes on the nose; elderberry, cherry, cassis. Voluminous and fruity on the palate, also cherry again, soft but strong tannins. Nice, long finish. Still young, but drinking well now. Will age for many years to come.
German: Tiefdunkles Rubinrot, undurchsichtig.

Dark ruby. Black fruits, dried fruits, prunes on the nose. Full bodied, well integrated tannins. Raisins, dried fruits on the palate. Very good wine, drinking well but I think this will improve over the next few years. Will revisit in a year or two.

Nose: peppery plum, fig balsamic, hint of tilled earth. Plate: Stewed plums, tart dark cherries firm tannins; a bit one-note, but the note sings well.

Comments as for April last year, slightly perfumed nose.
Still drinking very well and I’m sure will continue to do so for 5+ years.
