Med minus color. Large amounts of both acidity and ripe fruit simultaneously. Best with food (lemon salmon w sautéed spinach and caper spaghetti). Better out of large glass which lets the wine express its tropical flower aromas.

Thought it drank like a Chardonnay so looked up the blend on Kermit Lynch’s website: Garganega, Trebbiano Toscano, Sauvignon Bianco, Chardonnay, Saorin.

Floral, elegant, delicious wine. Understated sweetness of fruit, complexity and minerality reminded me of a premier cru Chablis while veering toward orchard fruit tones in the finish. Elegant and balanced. Very good.

Two very consistent and pretty bottles and always an undervalued gem on wine lists. Young yet quite giving almost vintage agnostic wine if we compare with older versions we have tried quite frankly. A soft and round wine with nice texture and good depth of flavor. On the leaner side of things but in no way simple. Very good 90-91

TNs: Recent Rando Wines; 8/19/2020-10/2/2020: Floral nose that smells like spring flowers and fresh fruit. Palate is marked by Very lean, clean white fruit. Feels a tad tight and youthful still, yet, very easy to drink. Again, a clean minerality without any obtrusive oak. Finishes with tart lemon. Glad to have more.

This is a complicated blend of Garganega, Trebbiano, Sauvignon Bianco, Chardonnay and Saorin. Pale yellow in the glass, this has an appealing nose with a “fruit salad” flavor spectrum (but not in the bad way of cheap Verdelho, I guess you could say ripe melon, stone fruit and just a touch of citrus). A touch of minerality appears as well. In the mouth this is very clean and defined, finishing crisp and moreish. A quality white wine for sure, although the value is perhaps questionable.

Pale straw color. Fresh nose of white flowers, lemon, honey, some lees. Dry, crisp acidity, on the palate lemon, green apple, oily texture, but with no complexity. Mediumish body and finish. Beautiful balance though. Easy drinking.

For our sixth wine in the tasting tour of Italy, we travel to Veneto to taste this glorious white wine from Quinterelli imported by Kermit Lynch. Lynch wines appear quite regularly in our 31 wine line up selected for the month long tasting.
This Secco is a mix of grapes including Garganega, Trebbiano, Toscano, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay -- although the impact of the Sauvignon and Chardonnay is invisible.
A wonderfully floral nose of honeysuckle and hibiscus. Apricots and peaches abound without overdone sweetness. Think flowers more than sugar. One thinks of a Rhone Valley varietal such as Roussane. Quite round in the mouth. A clean taste of fruit without wood or stone. The faintest hit of lemons and metallic acidity on the finish.
This is wine to enjoy and study into the depths of the glass.

Un vino decisamente funzionale che profuma di estate. Austero a tratti si svela con note di frutta a polpa gialla matura. È piacevole e intenso, fresco e di giusta persistenza.

At peak. Round on the edges but with excellent lonesr focus on the palate, with peach and lemon notes abundant. Well done!
Had with dinner at Between the Trees.

Blind. Nervy, some tropical notes; linear and precise, grows fruit sweetness with air.

really tasty yellow apples and herbs—great acidity and the end like stones in your mouth

Always a fav. Got the refreshing crispness of a sauv blanc, but with more depth. Got the layers and complexity of a chard, but without the weight.
