Dark purple. Ripe dark fruit, primary and sweet with a touch of smoke, dried herbs, blood. Broad shouldered with high acidity, very deep but still a baby. Long finish. 92-93

The wine shows high intensity in the nose, ripe black fruit, cherries, botanical bitterness, earth, graphite, warmth (14%), a few raisin hints, liqueur notes. The wine shows big palate, dusty tannins, medium to high acidity, blackcurrant, inky, iron/bloody, earth, herbal again, hot, chartreuse – like, long finish

Very much stacked and loaded full of upfront fruit at the moment; sweet black fruits stamped through with fine tannins - there is a metallic tang on the back palate that is very much northern rhone syrah. Long, textured. Too young of course right now, but does at least have the stuffing for a long life. Come back in 5 years.

At first this was an abomination of modern sweet ripe fruit. I decided to stay with it however and things trended in the right direction. More typical smokey dark berry notes and leather emerge with hours of air. An unexpected chalky minerality on the nose. Overall still too polished and cake like on the palate but I would consider it drinkable.

Beautiful floral nose with sweet blue fruit. Very ripe blue and black fruit, with quite a bit of sweetness. Moderate complexity/finish. Smooth, velvety texture, and accessible now. But, the sweetness is a distraction and detracts from what otherwise would have been a very enjoyable wine.

Highly perfumed nose of raspberries, menthol, earth, black pepper and smoky bacon. It is fresh and detailed in the mouth, with a high degree of elegance and great drive and persistence. The balance allows you to approach now with pleasure.

No note taken. Last bottle after a long flight. Fresh. Red/blue fruit/black fruit and bacon. Drinkable now. Upside. My score may be low. 91-93.

Young with lots of potential. Second half of bottle much better on night two. Could drink now with lots of air. Much better with food.
