Dark inky color, nice legs, wonderful velvety texture of tannins and pure dark fruit with a lasting finish. Mr. Nam's favorite of the night, as well as ours. Over marinated beef at the steakhouse w-Mr. Nam and Heekyung.

Deep purple color and a hint of pepper to the nose (which is a bit unusual). Strong tannins, dark berry fruit on the front end and some chocolate on the back end. Drinking nicely now but I suspect it will be even better next year.

As usual, this wine fails,............to disappoint.! Gorgeous dark purple color, long legs, beautiful balance, fruit, and structure. Paired with marinated Korean pork, beef, in celebration of our move in date for our new apartment near Seoul.

Others have described the wine, it's quite good. However, Cellar Tracker says the wine is worth around $55 (a steal!), even as it shows wine-searcher pricing it at 79.56 and Vivino $87.99. Me, I bought it at Total Wine and More for ~$95.

Drank over two hours with a series of small plates. Beautiful inky color. Rich nose, blackberries, some fruit but not cloying, some graphite. Young but serious potential. Beautiful tannins, berries, acidity. Probably a little too young but who cares - youth is wasted on the young, as we learned from Its a Wonderful Life.

Dark purple color, wonderful nose, velvety texture full-bodied mid-palate of delicious fruit, with a nice finish. Lush presence of firm tannins and balanced acid; this nice bottle was very impressive to all tonight, and should have a long balanced life ahead of it. Drink now to be wowed, later for the tertiary flavor. Paired with juicy Korean steak cutlets and fresh grilled abalone marinated with butter for Christmas Eve dinner in Seoul. I believe this is a superior Napa for the price, would definitely buy again, and am glad to have a bottle left.!

The Leap- Brilliant purple colored Cab by Stags with old world flair. Abt 3 hours to open fully, quite chewy and puckering initially. However the notes were super expressive. Dark fruits - mashed up plum skin, cherry skin, roasted dark berries. Charred cedar aroma, fresh soil, earth and truffles showed up as well. The finish definitely was laced with tightly coiled tannins, forest floor and roasted coffee. Celebrating 13th wedding anniv! May 4th. That was a Big Leap! Cheers! 🍷

Part of a Stags' Leap WFSNY online event. We coravined about an hour and a half before the event, decanted, and then poured into glasses. The wine is a complete baby and I imagine could use some more time, but I do like the balance that it has already. It's not overly fruit forward although certainly fruity (as much Napa CS is). I suppose better way to say is not overly ripe. This was a tough year with fires and in this year the fires were at the estate, but this wine was already in before they started. Would love to revisit in 10+ years.

Very dry and overpowering. A strong taste of currant. Jerry did not like this wine.
