I think this is drinking pretty well at this point, especially given the price point. It seems to have held up fine for an inexpensive wine. Kind of a standard fruit forward inexpensive wine. Not sweet, minimal tannins. Some vanilla. Not a lot of complexity, but for a daily drinker, very, very acceptable.

Gift. Clear, clean red with chocolate covered raspberry, coconut, dill. Medium bodied, oak-dominated. Actually better with considerable air time. A quality value wine.

For the goof, tasted this blind alongside the house brand California Merlot from our local supermarket chain. Preferred the Bogle - even though it came off much more ripe and probably manipulated (including a lot of oak) for a cocktail or party wine, it stayed full as opposed to "The Path" merlot which had a thinner and slightly unpleasant finish.

What do you expect from an 8$ wine.. not much ... but this is actually palatable which makes a good inexpensive easy drinking wine ... great for company or for people who don't much appreciate a more expensive varietal. Smooth well balanced with some basic fruits.. Great Value.

I can usually boogie with Bogle but this is not my jam, although it is very jammy, from the scents of raspberry jam, the palate shows blueberry bubblegum, raspberry jam, strawberry and baking spice, extremely fruit forward and all kinds of jam jam

Medium ruby color with watery viscosity. Fruit leather vanilla, black pepper, toasted coconut, and hint of cedar on the nose. Red fruits up front that jumps out to a hot vodka burn in the middle which is rather off putting. Finish is a little unrefined. Okay but not real great. Meh. However it did get better with Chicken Marsala.

Not bad but past its prime. Much better when I had a bottle 15 months ago. No need to save this one any longer.

Solid wine and a great value at $6. Basic fruit flavors with a balanced frame and mild tannins.

A drinkable red, slightly sweet, good color and decent aromatics. For the price it is really hard to fault except for the RS.
