Grenache tasting (Five Way Cellars, Paddington): Oof, smells wonderfully porty; ripe, jammy fruit, a little almost figgy note, cream, vanilla, touch of rancio, oxidised notes, aldehydic red hued fruit. Lots and lots of throw in the glass. Very silly but also charmingly rustic. Perhaps it's flawed?

Deep ruby. Plum, blueberry, port and some earth. Medium body and a spicy finish. Well integrated and delicious.
