I just think this is an extremely reliable though not necessarily exciting high QPR pinot. Somewhat dull in color the nose is barnyard and cherries with some oak. Mild tannins and modest finish combine to make this a perfect starter wine for a night where there's more to come or an enjoyable glass or two during the week.

Aroma hinting of "dirt" or soil, similar to a South African wine. Also a hint of a tobacco aroma, similar to a cigar. Unlike a South African wine, however, the taste did not have a soil or dirt resemblance. Very smooth, and "tobaccoey" taste. Better with food than alone. Went well with wild mushroom ravioli, and very well with crab stuffed shrimp. Part of a Pinot flight @ Vines Wine Bar.

Decent aromas of pinot fruit, but a bit thin on the palate.
