Ruby red in color. Classic aromas of black currants, black cherries and wood spices. Medium-bodied, well-balanced fruit in the mouth with good depth and length and well-integrated tannins. Served out of magnum, this wine lacked the grip, complexity and depth to justify a higher score.

PnP w/30 min decant. Deep purple color. Nice proper Cab nose. Drinking very well with more dark fruit notes. Long mostly resolved tannins, good drinking window. Nothing off.

Absolutely stellar tonight! Should have taken my own advice about the hour but it was so good right away. Subtle dark red fruits mixed with a spice box of connsmmon and anise. The mouthfeel was smooth and slick at first but developed a velvet plushness after the hour. Time to enjoy these, glad I have one more.

Really tastey and lots of life still in this. The wine never showed any fatigue or flabbiness after following for three days. The fruit is vibrant with raspberries, light vanilla, good mocha, no vegetal characteristics. This great at first pop, but give it at least an hour in the bottle and you'll be even happier.

Muted nose of dark fruit and fresh earth. Complex palate of black and blue berries, mocha and leather. Nice legs with a long finish. It went very well with the grilled, aged ribeye, garlic-braised spinach and quinoa!

better when it is opened an hour before it is drank. goes well with a ripe goat cheese like humbolt fog. This is a big bold cab with strong cherry flavor and a dry finish.

Not decanted. Nose of spice (cassis, clove) and forest berries. Ripe, round on the palate with a concise finish. Would classify this vintage as approaching zinfandel tones. Very drinkable, with or without food. Paired nicely with both hangar steak and roasted chicken.

opened up well after 60-90 minutes. Very tasty!. agree with prior post on cork getting soft and probably time to consume asap.

Opened up nicely. We probably caught it right at a good time as the cork was not hard. If you still have this, drink it asap!
