Aroma of dark cherry, blackberry, and oak notes. Maybe some violet, but can’t really tell. On the palate, found it less than balanced. Came in a little hot, tanins weren’t the best integrated. Fruit forward, but still medium bodied with the oak flavors. About right for $13/btl

Dangerously good night 1. Great dark berry flavor, baking spice, good level of vanilla sweetness, very smooth. Great bargain from Wine Access. Not as good night 2 4.5

Intense red color. Strong palate with cherry fruit flavors, some spiciness and mature tannins. Long finish. This is a very good expression of an old-vine Spanish grenache. For the price (~$12), it's a steal.

Medium-dark ruby. Brooding nose of sweet spice and dark fruit. Black cherry and chocolate on the palate with a bit of herbs. Rich, medium-bodied. Bit of minerality on the finish, with black chocolate and cherries. Not a lot of structure but drink-now jammy yumminess.

Still remarkable. Went great with a plate of strong cheeses, peanut curry, spaghetti squash casserole heavy on the parm, and then chocolates of a higher quality than I’m normally privy.
Next time I’ll decant for 4hrs. It was getting even more magical as I bittersweetly sipped my last sip around hour 3.

I like the intensity behind the dark purple fruit, tar, smoke, and cardamom spice. Shows lovely black fruit freshness flanked by impeccable structure and energetic vitality. Tannin is evident but nicely integrated, giving the wine harmony and gravitas.

Sour cherry and strawberry palate. Medium+ acid. Some oak, tobacco and baked black fruits on the nose. Soft mouthfeel ends with a substantially dry, acidic punch.

Purple in color and semi-opaque in the glass; aromas of black cherries, fresh strawberries, baking spice, and menthol on the nose; tastes of black cherry, licorice, dark chocolate, and white pepper on the palate; medium(+) body, medium acidity, medium tannins; medium(+) finish with lingering bitter chocolate and white pepper. Very distinctive and fresh with crunchy red fruit.

Not a fan. For me it had weird taste. Upfront fruit disappears with a dry finish.

A slightly sour, full mouth finish. Taste of young unripe plum. Not very complex but still interesting. May need to be cellared a couple more years.

Old vine American oak blue berry pie. And indeed, lots of vanilla to it. And soft and sweet oak on the palate as well.

Good value at $10 a bottle but nothing to back the truck up for. Candied dark red fruit with decent finishing acidity.

One of the best $12 reds I’ve had in a long time. Lots of dark fruit, some spice, good balance.

Solid wine in its own right, but it is epic at the ~$10 price point. I have a case, so I’ll post better notes on the next bottle.

Big and bold, lots of spice and dark fruit, with strong hints of smoke... Unusual profile for Grenache. Good all-round wine and reasonable QPR...
