Lovely Bourgogne rouge, which surpassed its regional status in quality. It has developed some nice tertiary aroma’s, but at 5 years it can easily go another 5. Pure fruit, mostly red, some black. Good acidity and decent length. 88-89

Has not moved much, still sexy, charming, a wee bit roasted, maybe, sweet, yet balanced. Still young, but still, maybe pick this one young. Finished chalky and just a wee bit short, still impressive for the level. #Kandestederne

Pop and pour yesterday. Better than I remember my last btl being. On the nose: musty mulberry, vanilla, spice, rose. On the palate: good acidity, lovely density and weight...black pepper, mulberry and blackberry. Soft, finely grained tannin on the finish. Yum.

Pop and pour. On the nose: ripe cherry and soft plum, vanilla, some soft green notes. On the palate: very good acidity, soft plum, black cherry, loads of fruit, then soft herbs/green, and soft finely grained tannin on the finish. Not bad.

Some serious fruit and concentration here, you feel the vintage, but it is handled well. Spice, structure, pushing above it's weight, as they say. Tasted over several days, just getting better

Pop and pour. Ok, oxidized by day 2 open. Not much upside. Drink 'em if you got 'em.

Red fruit and green stemmy nose over a plummy red fruited palate. More stems, good balance. Fruity and juicy, not complex. A bit roasty - vintage?
