Really nice wine. Tart cherry nose and on palate. Good fruit, good acid, nice depth and complexity. Wonderful with pork chops Drinking well now. Should age 10 more years

Medium to deep ruby, aromas of sour cherries, raspberry cordial and rose petals. Body medium+, soft tannins and high acidity. The palate primarily bright fresh fruit, some tertiary starting to develop, some forest floor and a bit of leather.
Very enjoyable, perhaps a little heavy for the grilled salmon, but certainly not totally overpowering.

Here's a Bourgogne-Mercurey with attitude! In addition to the expected strawberries, cherries, and roses, there are also complex aromas of ripe blackberries and black currants – all under a sheer blanket of spicy oak notes. Medium-bodied on the fuller side with a silky structure and grippy tannins. Long, fruity finish. Really, really good!

Mid depth of colour, red-cherry. Decanted for about an hour. On the nose, cranberry, raspberry and nice fragrance (mainly roses). Some mushroom and spice but it is mostly fruit and florals at this stage. Palate: medium bodied with a bright, fresh palate from plenty of acidity. Tannins not too overpowering. Needs 3-4 years imo, when it might rate higher. It might have presented better with a longer decant.

Big improvement since tasting it about 14 months ago. More settled.
Needs another 2-3 years to further improve. A bit grippy and bitter. Nice acidity. Sour cherry, pomegranate, cherry pits, stems. A bit disjointed at the moment but will come together with time.

Dark ruby with violet reflections. Strawberry and floral nose. Rather acidic on the palate. Sour red cherries, raspberry, pomegranate. Too young and should be given a new try in 3-5 years.

Medium ruby. Asphalt, cherry, blossom, pomegranate, raspberry and cinnamon. The floral note is very intense. Brawny, structured and very ripe at this price point. Gorgeous and silky, if still youthful. There is some grip at the back end. Very impressive. Somewhat approachable, but definitely deserves a good decant! This has a bright future ahead of it.

This is an exceptional Mercurey. Yes, it is very young, but boy is it kind of irresistible already. It just oozes Burgundy class and pedigree. Lovely application of toasty oak, and just so much ripe, mineral-laced raspberry fruit. Definitely can feel the warm vintage, but think it will actually last quite a long time and balance itself out beautifully. We'll see. $42.99 seems very good QPR for this level of quality in Burgundy.

Solid juicy sweet fruit with a touch of forest floor from oak structure. Much bigger wine than expected with layers of fruit character. Will be an interesting value for money wine in a few years

From magnum and surprisingly welcoming and well within its drinking window and made us wonder how this will age . Soft yet with a decent structure, darker feel of fruit, round and just nice really to drink now. A very good 90 and great value for money.

89 vers 91?

One of my favorite wines when mature. This one is clearly at least 3 years away from being there. At this point it is simple, monolithic and unyielding even after an hour in the glass. The promise (90-92) is there, but at this point it’s a waste. Update: Better on day 2. Ripe red tart cherry compote. Still, no reason to open for another few years. Excellent potential, too simple today.

Litt floral, vag lukt av bringebær og jordbær etter lufting. Frisk og god syre. Lang men litt tynn ettersmak.
Veldig god vin, kan nok ligge en del år.
