The wine has a great nose of bright cherry fruit. Delicious cherry fruit on the palate. It is very vibrant and more than ready to enjoy. It has a roundness to it with a medium finish. It is velvety and refined. While it should age well for a few more years, I don’t expect it to improve from where it is today.

Delicious, bright, vibrant, rich and smooth. Great Thanksgiving wine as it paired well across the board for multiple choices the table enjoyed for Thanksgiving dinner.

Decanted for 2 hours before heading out for dinner. Medium to Dark fruits on the palate with a hint of wet tobacco. There wasn't a lot here. This was different from what I would usually expect from the WS Westside Road cru. 2018 was supposed to be an excellent vintage for CA Pinot Noir, so I was surprised this came out flat. I wouldn't touch another for 5+ years. 92-93
Gave it 30 minutes of being opened before the first glass was poured and it was time we’ll spent! Still had nice bright red fruit with a clean lingering finish. Very smooth mouthfeel with cherry being the taste most pronounced. This vintage has aged wonderfully and has plenty of life left. Sad to be done with it but I’ve got ‘19 and ‘20 vintages in the cellar but the bar has been set high by the ‘18. Enjoy it if you still have some!

Much better second night, not sure if something I ate first night had impact. But good flavor and slight acidity (especially compared to Martinelli Moonshine drank next night). Seemed well balanced.

Well made Pinot with a modern feel without falling into the sweet jammy style. Nose has strong toffee notes probably coming from the new oak regimen. The palate has a silky mouthfeel, with notes of dark red fruits and spices, without being heavy.

Opened as a PnP and it really delivered! Fruit was bright and clean with a nice finish that lingers just long enough until you take that next sip! Could taste some Cherry with little acid and a smooth feel in your mouth. Should continue to develop as it ages, but it’s so hard to not enjoy it now. Might give the other bottles until Q1 or Q2 of 2022.

Really enjoyed this and it's ready to go. Nice bright fruit with notes of cherries. Not overly ripe. I usually try to wait longer to consume the W&S single vineyard wines but no reason to here.
Crimson red in glass with a medium full body to it. On the nose you get a really nice and complex interplay of baking spices and cherries. The wine lingers long with a very strong and elegant finish. There’s a husky almost leather like heft to the body and mouthfeel making you feel like this isn’t your entry level Pinot. Really well done.

Plenty of fruit and needs some time to really evolve. Hints of spice throughout. Medium bodied. Medium plus acidity. Better in a few years. Drink 2022-2028. I have enjoyed other vintages more and it's a questionable QPR. But it's still a very good wine.

Purple/crimson color, clear, bright, medium to light concentration Nose fresh, ripe fruit - plum, black cherry - sweet candy note under the fruit, black raisins, tiny touch of vanillin, tea, baking spices. Palette- wine is sound, palette echoes the nose with spiced fruit a bit of vanillin which will integrate nicely over time. A bit of earthiness on the palette which does not register on the nose. Velvety texture Low acid Light tannins touch of grip as we would expect for wine like this. Young. Long finish Dry wine Medium high alcohol Well balanced Delicious now but will benefit from some age.

Rich and seductive aromas with recognizable notes of American Pinot with this forward-looking red fruit of plums, ripe raspberries and typically exotic spices. Good full-bodied and pronounced juicy wine with a very good mouthfeel of rich plum berries, juicy darker cherries, raspberries, cask spices and somewhat darker chocolate tones on a good finish with a nice tannin structure. Juicy and fresh, maybe not too distinctive yet. Give the wine time.

Pours ruby red in the glass with a less transparent color than say comparable Kosta Browne or Maybach Irmgard. On the nose it’s got plenty of herbs with waves of fresh cherries and berries mixed in for good measure. On the palette it’s even keeled not terribly fruit forward but nicely well balanced.
