  • Saturday night Laksa party at Wimborne. Poured from large wide decanter. Drank in large Riedel stemless.
Lots of expensive oak feels. Fine fine fine.
Appearance is clear, deep intensity, purple colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of purple boysenberries, expensive toast oak with bits of vanillin, dark red berries. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%) very soft plush medium+ tannins, medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of blackberries, boysenberries, integrating toast oak, licorice. Long finish.
Very good quality. Young now with lots of future potential.
