  • Tasted double blind. The 2018 vintage shows here with lots of fruit and a touch of sexiness. The intensity might be quite overbearing for a burgundy lover but the potential seems immense. If this sheds all it‘s baby fat and all tertiary aromas come forward, this could be a 97 pts wine. 94/95 pts today with the right amount of air.

TN: On the nose and palate intense dark red and red berries, some sugary notes, herbs, some earthy tones in the background. With time some nutty and caramel notes which add some sexiness. Not the highest complexity yet, but very high purity and precision. Very harmonious, superb roundness and freshness, superb tannin quality, silky texture, high intensity from start to the long and expanding finish.

Decanting: Decanted for 5 hours and that obviously worked very well.

  • Juicy and straight with very good depth. Refreshing wine served at the end of yet another historic bacchanal in The Pink House, so no really serious notes ...
