  • nose - dark grape licorice
    mouth - unabashedly fruit forward, in some ways the fruit reminds me of what you'd find in a high end beaujolais, with more refined tannins. mid palate redolent of dark fruits bopping on the tongue. Has a nice black tea like finish. I will hold my other bottles for ~5 years to see what complexity develops. fans of a more new world style would do fine to drink this now.
