One of the better QPR wines out there, this shows good sweetness of candied reddish fruits with reasonable acidity and a layered, plush finish. A bit warmer and lusher than other vintages so not my favorite but still a nice Southern Rhone drink.

Not much on the nose - fruit or otherwise. Similarly on the palate I get the chacteristic (for Cayron, in my experience) ground pepper followed by a licorice finish. Not the most extroverted Gigondas but a unique and tasteful expression nonetheless.

Beautiful nose of garrigue and graphite minerals. Those flavors follow through on the palate with dark red fruit and a lovely smooth texture. Finishes taut and dry with delicious notes of garrigue spices and minerals. A very good vintage of this underrated wine that also ages well in the medium term. 90+

estate visit and tasting, same as every notes of the flight, sad, rainy, lox sky day... wines are not showing the best although...
same blend as 2017, 78 gr 16 Syrah, 6 cinsault, etc...
Nose of dried flowers, infusion like, nice style, power is there but style too...
Palate is smooth, fruity and elegant, very nice finish with loads of red fruits and cassis, not jammy, but you feel the Syrah there, not just.. needs time too
give it a good 2 hours aire prior to drinking I believe

Fabulous, dark stone fruit, dry and smooth, this is one of the best Southern Thone wines.

Ovanlig friskt för att vara från södra Rhône. Tranbär är en framträdande komponent. Mycket gott. Slank stil.

2 Bottles of 2018 that are flawed. Metallic taste - possibly the result of brett. Disappointing.
