Tried it on pop and pour and it was ok. The balance was off, too much earth/leather and not enough fruit for me. That and a nose that was really off, almost unpleasant made me think I had a bad bottle. That was over a week ago and I'm finishing the bottle tonight after keeping in the fridge, vacu-vinned. So tonight, while the nose is still off (a distinct petrol note that I do not like) .... on the palate, it's wonderful. Excellent balance with the fruit having come back strong with the earth/leather apparently having blown off. Makes me think I will definitely decant my next and last bottle. The taste profile features good red fruit, still enough earth and leather and a good shot of acid that makes it go well with food, and really well with chocolate mousse.

Drinking fantastically right now on pop and pour. Great extraction, nice black raspberry, strawberry, and cola. Typical twiggy pinot finish. Very nice, especially at this price.

Unimpressed upong opening, definately benefittedfrom decanting. Blueberry, with some black cherry undertones on the nose. Nice full body with rich fruit, but comes across as slightly hotter than your typical pinot.

It's a terrific PN. Decanted for 30 minutes, served it to two guests in cluding a PN lover, and the bottle was gone with dinner. Great balance of fruit, soft tannins and acid. I have two more bottles which I will save for a year or two. Formal notes next time.

A solid very good Pinot - more on the old world style with lots of earth and mineral, good balance of fruit but not over done. Pretty high acidity, so defintely went better with food.

Strong cherry with touches of blueberry, cream soda, pepper, vanilla, cinnamon & a hint of savory (soy sauce?). It needs a little time to open up, so decant or cellar for a year or so. An extremely enjoyable wine.

Delicious soft, leathery tannins up-front. Nice raspberry and cherry fruits. A really impressive wine, especially for $17. Highly recommended. Drinking well now, and should last well for another 3 years.

I have to say that this is one of the most delightful fruit forward pinots I've ever had. I personally tend to prefer a woodsy, earthy pinot noir, but this wine won me over with (or despite) its layers of berries, in part because the fruit was so true and rich and in part because there was ample spice for balance.
From the first sip to the last (one night later, held refrigerated and then brought to proper temp), I found strawberry, cherry, cola, cinnamon and vanilla in lovely proportion to each other, and a nice lingering finish.
I would strongly recommend this wine at my purchase price of $25ish, or even at considerably more.

Totally different wine. Earth and funk and faint black cherries. Really amazed by how old world this now tastes. Great Sonoma Coast Color.

tasty Sunday night with fresh Turkey barley soup - textbook Pinot Noir - nothing particularly extravagant about it - but tasty, smooth and delicious
