Popped and poured. On the nose, dark fruit and some oak. Tastewise, very nicely balanced, with just enough heat to make it a great accompinement to a rich pasta and eggplant par meal. Lots of bottle age was very good for this wine.

Still drinking very well.. The sangio sharpness and acidity is nicely balanced by the roundness of the merlot and cab. It went well with cheese ravioli and tomato sauce tonight.
