Some heat, pencil lead and a bit of vegetal note on the nose. Some Worcestershire sauce as well!?!? The palate has a bit of cherry pit and tartness. Some candied cherry on the back end. Strawberry and blueberry colors and notes emerged as well. Rich Campbell Ranch fruit profile, a bit reminiscent of early Cherry Pie Pinot.

Raspberry and pen ink on the nose. On the palate, candied cherry, strawberry, and notes of tart red fruit, honey, purple fruit, and something slightly bitter on the medium finish, with no detectable tannins and moderate acidity. Although this barely escapes being flabby, it's fairly complex and tasty. This was a good value at about $45. The relatively low acidity makes me think this may start to fade after a few years.

Candied rhubarb, strawberry rhubarb pie, something green close to tarragon, and some baking spice on the nose. On the palate, it’s all about the fruit, closing a little fat and fruity. Some grippy tannins would have really sealed the deal for me. The roundness at the end leaves something missing. That said, it’s very tasty. I’d personally prefer it with a bit more structure, but that’s my preference and I can understand why one might love it just the way it is. Nice wine.
