Well, we tried another bottle and yuks again. It is a dark yellow colour but the flavours are unclean and the finish unpleasant. Still cannot figure out if it is faulty or the blend. It lacks acidity and fresh flavours. All somewhat stale and dried out and not enjoyable. My postings are a bit different than the other posts, but maybe I just bought an off 3 bottle lot.

Somewhat yuks. I am not sure if the bottle was slightly off, or this is how it was supposed to taste. The fact that I have two more bottles should sort that out. Before posting more info I will wait until I consume another bottle.

Enjoyed with a light salad; a quaffer. Nice bright tropical and stone fruits with wet stones and minerals. On the palate, this is light and refreshing with a crisp, light toward medium bodied finish. Approx $7, 12% abv, 100% Viura grape.

This might sound strange, but this tastes better than an 80 point wine. Pale yellow in the glass, with notes of grapefruit, tropical fruit, peaches, flowers, and a slight mustiness. The nose reminded me of a Riesling. In fact my wife, who didn't know what we were drinking before tasting it, assumed it was a Riesling. This had a really nice nose. Unfortunately, it completely crumbled on the palate. You get a little burst of peach, and grapefruit, but a wet-rock minerality prevails before taste completely disappears on the back of the palate. The finish is non-existant. For such a nice nose, the palate and finish were disappointing. Still, it was a pleasant wine to drink, and I can't really complain for $7/bottle. I probably won't seek this out again, but wouldn't turn it down if offered to me.

Discovering Wine: A good everyday wine with a nose of peach, floral, and some vanilla. Semi-sweet and smooth, it had a nice minerally tang with a taste of melon. This wine had a much longer finish than expected for $6.

Dry, mineraly verdejo. Better than expected--no bitter finish that is typical with a value light white. Paired well with cold orzo salad but enjoyable by itself as well. Would recommend for as a summer sipper. But fell apart after day 1.

Light straw color, with hint of green. Light-medium bodied with subdued apple/lemon fruit and floral aromas. Dry, with with moderate balancing acidity. Light crisp finish. Did not enjoy too much on its own because it seemed a little too dry and the fruit and other flavors were subdued for that, but did find it very good with a pepper steak. A good QPR white. Score this an 83, largely due to value and how it paired with food.

I open a bottle of this EVERYTIME I make shrimp cocktail. Half goes into the boil and the other into two glasses. It goes AWESOME with the finished appetizer and boy is it CHEAP.
Take me down to QPR city!
Brought to 2008 Kara's superbowl party... those who tried it liked it ( the wine ) of coarse EVERYONE liked the Shrimp cocktail. (Surprised? You shouldn't be)

Wife brought this home for a dinner recipe, leaving the remainder of the bottle. I was not expecting much, but it turns out this is a decent wine. Nice crisp clean citrus flavors with suprisingly good moutfeel and weight. Finishes clean with good acidity. Not bad at all.

Admittedly, gets points purely for price/quality ratio. $7.99 at Kroger's. Drank on a 70 degree day in November (in cincinnati--global warming I guess...) with clam linguine. Clean, fresh, easy to drink a lot of...Apple and lemon flavor to me.

For the price ($6 after 10% discount) I'll forgive the tiny amount of bitterness on the finish and chalk it up as one of the most pleasant and best value summer sippers for a 85 degree Texas night spent on the deck. No overthinking this one... just nice and refreshing.

I mistook this for a white burgundy - the oak very gentle, the fruit understated - very pleasant

This is a bit like drinking a watered down sauvignon blanc. Not bad, but not much to it.
